Run your container rental operation from one place

A container rental business is a long list of things that have to line up: the request, the quote, the booking, the containers that are still out, the delivery date, the collection date, the driver, the truck, the price, the invoice and the payment. BenneCRM keeps all of it on one record per rental, so the office, the drivers and the invoices work from the same information.

  • Customer requests
  • Quotes
  • Bookings
  • Containers out
  • Delivery dates
  • Collection dates
  • Drivers
  • Vehicles
  • Pricing
  • Invoices
  • Payments
The rental, start to finish

From booking to payment, manage the entire rental

Every stage below is a step on the same order. Nothing has to be copied from one tool to the next.

  1. 1

    Customer request

Capture the customer, the site address, the container size, the waste type and the date, over the phone or from the order form on your own website.

  2. 2

    Quote & confirmation

The price comes from your rate list by waste type and size. Send the order form for the customer to sign online, and the order shows as confirmed.

  3. 3

    Order created

One record per rental, with its size, waste type, price and site. Every later movement is attached to it.

  4. 4

    Delivery scheduled

Give the delivery a date and a time, and assign a driver and vehicle. It appears on the day's list with everything else due.

  5. 5

    Driver informed

One tap sends the driver an SMS with the job: what, when, where and for which customer. The day's list is filtered by driver.

  6. 6

    Container on site

The order stays open while the container is out. A filter shows every live rental, with days on site, and a map shows the sites.

  7. 7

    Exchange or extension

Schedule an exchange and the fresh container gets its own linked order. A customer who keeps the container longer just keeps the order open.

  8. 8

    Collection

Schedule the collection with its date and driver. Once it is done, the order is complete and moves to the list to invoice.

  9. 9

    Invoice

Tick the finished orders, add extras such as waiting time or tonnage, and the PDF invoice is ready to send from your own email address.

  10. 10

    Payment

Record each payment with its date and method, see the balance on every invoice, and keep a list of what is still unpaid.

Scheduling & dispatch

Plan every delivery, exchange and collection

The day's jobs on one screen, each with its customer, site address, container and driver. Green means done, white means still to do.

  • Deliveries, exchanges and collections planned inside the order
  • A driver and vehicle on every job, and a filter for what is still unassigned
  • Filter by day, driver, status, container size or waste type

Container tracking

Know where every container is

Every active rental sits on the map at its site address. Two sites close together can go to the same driver, and nothing is left on site by accident.

  • Each pin is a container on site; click it for the order
  • Live rentals filtered by size and waste type, with days on site
  • The order stays open until the container is back

Everything the trade needs

Built for the work, not just the contacts

Orders, scheduling, drivers, containers, pricing and invoicing, each connected to the rental it belongs to.

Container & order management

One order per rental, holding the customer, site, container size, waste type, price and every movement, from delivery to collection.

Scheduling & dispatch

Plan deliveries, exchanges and collections by day. Assign a driver and vehicle to each job and see what is still unassigned.

Driver management

Keep your drivers and their vehicles on file, assign them to jobs, and send each job's details by SMS in one tap.

Container tracking

See every container still out, by size and waste type, with days on site, and every active site on a map.

Pricing

A rate for each waste type and container size, applied when the order is entered, so every quote comes out the same.

Invoicing

Turn finished orders into PDF invoices, add extras such as waiting time or tonnage, and email them from your own address.

Customer management

Customers, contacts and site addresses in one place, with the order history behind each one. Search by name, phone or address.

Works on a phone

No app to install. Enter an order from the cab or check the day from site; the screen adapts to a phone.

Payments

Record each payment, see the balance on every invoice, and keep a list of unpaid invoices by age.

Why it matters

Stop managing container rentals across spreadsheets, messages and paper

The problems below are what a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp thread and a paper planner cannot solve, and what BenneCRM does about each one.

  • You don't know how many containers are out, or where.

Live rentals filtered by size and waste type, and a map of every site with a container on it.

  • A container sits on a finished site for weeks and nobody notices.

The collection has its own date. Until it is done, the order stays open in the list.

  • Two jobs land in the same slot, or on the same driver.

The day's jobs are listed per driver, with their times, so a clash shows before the truck leaves.

  • Every driver gets a phone call for every address.

One tap sends the driver an SMS with the job: what, when, where and for which customer.

  • The order details are somewhere in a WhatsApp thread.

Every order is a record, searchable by customer, address, order code, driver, waste type or status.

  • Invoices are typed up by hand at the end of the month.

Tick the finished orders and the invoice is ready, with extras added as separate lines.

  • Nobody knows which jobs are still open, or which were never billed.

Finished orders stay in the list to invoice until they are billed, and unpaid invoices are listed by age.

  • Customer details live in three different places.

One customer record with contacts, site addresses and the full order history.

Who it is for

Built for container-based waste businesses

Owner-managed and small to mid-sized operations that deliver, exchange and collect containers, whatever they are called locally.

Skip hire companies

Deliveries, exchanges and collections per hire, with the skip sizes and waste types you set.

Dumpster rental companies

Roll-off deliveries, swaps and hauls, priced by container size and waste type.

Skip bin businesses

Bin drop-offs and pickups on one schedule, with the day laid out by driver.

Container rental companies

One record per container rental, from placement to pickup and invoice.

Waste collection businesses

Collections by the container, with your own waste streams and multi-site customers.

Small waste haulers

One or two trucks, the day on one screen, and invoices that go out the same day.

Construction waste container providers

Orders attached to the site, so each project can be billed on its own.

Local waste operators

A regional round with regular customers, without the spreadsheet and the paper planner.

The word for the container changes from one country to the next. The work does not: something is delivered, sometimes exchanged, then collected and billed. BenneCRM is built around that cycle.

Skips, dumpsters, containers

Different countries call them different things

Whether your customers call them skips, dumpsters, roll-off containers, waste containers or skip bins, the operational challenge is the same: you need to know what is out, where it is, who is delivering it, when it needs to be collected, and how the job should be billed. You name your own container sizes and waste types in BenneCRM, so the software speaks your market's language.

Day to day

The jobs you do every day, as they happen in BenneCRM

Four situations every container rental company knows, and the steps each one takes.

New container delivery

A customer calls, or sends the order form on your website. You enter the order, pick the delivery date and the driver, and the job is on the day's list. The driver gets the address by SMS.

  1. Request
  2. Order
  3. Delivery date
  4. Driver
  5. Delivered

Container exchange

The customer needs a fresh container, or a different size. Schedule the exchange: the new container gets its own order, with its own size and price, linked to the first one. The first order closes as exchanged and keeps its history.

  1. Container full
  2. Exchange scheduled
  3. New order linked
  4. First order closed

Container collection

Schedule the collection with its date and driver. Once it is done, the order is finished and moves to the list to invoice, showing how many days the container was on site.

  1. Rental ends
  2. Collection scheduled
  3. Driver
  4. Order closed
  5. Invoice

Extended rental

The customer keeps the container longer. The order stays open, the days on site keep counting, and the extra days go on the invoice as a line. The original price and the history stay on the order.

  1. Container stays
  2. Order stays open
  3. Extra days on invoice
  4. Paid
Small teams

Simple enough for a small team

A small container rental company does not need an enterprise system. It needs the day on one screen, orders that take seconds to enter, and invoices that go out the same day. BenneCRM is built for owner-run firms with a handful of drivers: three screens, orders, the day's schedule and invoicing, and nothing to install.

  • An order takes about thirty seconds to enter
  • Works from a phone, with nothing to install
  • We import your customers and prices with you, at no extra cost
  • Every feature on every plan, from €30 a month excluding VAT
  • One month free, no card, no commitment
Purpose-built

More than a generic CRM

A generic CRM keeps contacts and follows sales opportunities. A container rental business also has to run the work: which container is where, what is due today, which driver takes it, when it comes back, and how the job gets billed. BenneCRM is built around that workflow, so nothing has to be customised to fit the trade.

A generic CRM handles

  • Contacts and companies
  • Sales pipeline and opportunities
  • Tasks and reminders
  • Notes and email history

A container rental business also needs

  • Containers still out, by size and waste type
  • Deliveries, exchanges and collections on the same order
  • The day's jobs by driver and vehicle
  • Job status: planned, done, collected, invoiced
  • Rental details: size, waste type, site, days on site
  • Invoices raised from finished jobs, with extras
  • Payments and outstanding balances
Your questions

Container rental software, explained

The questions we hear from container rental companies looking at software for the first time.

What is container rental software?
Software that runs the day-to-day of a business renting out waste containers: orders, delivery and collection scheduling, drivers, pricing, invoicing and payments, in one system instead of a spreadsheet, a paper planner and phone messages.
What does container rental management software do?
It keeps one record per rental. From that record it plans the delivery, any exchange and the collection, assigns each job to a driver, prices the order from your rate list, and turns finished work into an invoice with the payments tracked against it.
Can BenneCRM be used for skip hire companies?
Yes. Skip hire is the trade BenneCRM was built for. Delivery, exchange and collection are the activity types built into every order, and each company sets up its own skip sizes, waste types and prices.
Can BenneCRM be used for dumpster rental companies?
Yes. A roll-off dumpster rental works the same way as a skip hire: a container is delivered, sometimes swapped, then hauled away and billed. You name your own container sizes and waste types, and set the currency, tax rate and time zone for your company.
Can I manage container deliveries and collections?
Yes. Every order holds its own delivery and collection, each with a date, a time, a driver and a status. The day's list shows every job due, and a filter shows the ones with no driver yet.
Can I track containers that are currently with customers?
Yes. An order stays open until its container has been collected, so a filter shows every container still out, by size and waste type, with the days on site, and a map shows the sites. Tracking is based on the order and its site address, not on GPS.
Can I manage drivers and schedules?
Yes. Add your drivers with their phone number and vehicle, assign each delivery, exchange or collection to one, and view the day by driver. One tap sends the driver an SMS with the job: what, when, where and for which customer.
Do my drivers need to install an app?
No. Drivers do not need an account. The office assigns the job and sends the details by SMS in one tap. Office staff and owners use BenneCRM in a browser, on a computer or a phone, with nothing to install.
Can I create invoices for container rentals?
Yes. Pick a customer, tick their finished orders, add extras such as waiting time or extra tonnage, and the invoice is ready as a PDF. Send it by email, record each payment and see the balance. A month's invoices can be grouped into one statement.
Is BenneCRM suitable for small container rental companies?
Yes. The Starter plan is €30 a month excluding VAT for up to 2 drivers, with every feature included. An order takes about thirty seconds to enter, it works from a phone, and we help you bring your customers and prices across at no extra cost.
Does BenneCRM work outside the UK?
Yes. BenneCRM is not tied to one country. The app is available in English, French and Romanian, and each company sets its own country, currency, time zone and VAT rate. Your data is hosted in the EU.
What is the difference between container rental software and waste management software?
Container rental software runs the rental itself: orders, container movements, drivers, pricing and invoicing. Waste management software is a broader term that can also cover regulatory waste tracking, weighbridges and disposal reporting. BenneCRM covers the operational and commercial side; it does not produce waste transfer notes or connect to a weighbridge.
