BenneCRM is management software for skip hire companies. You can try it free for one month, with no card. After that the subscription is monthly with no commitment: €30 a month for up to 2 drivers, €80 a month for up to 10, and by quote above that. Every feature is included in every plan, and prices exclude VAT.
Trial and getting started
- How does the free trial work?
- You get a full month, with no card. Every feature is open during the trial. At the end of the month you choose a plan. If you do nothing the account becomes read only: your data stays there to look at, but nothing changes and nothing is charged.
- How long does it take to get going?
- Allow a day. You set up your company, enter your skip sizes, waste types and price list, then bring your customers over. We help you with that setup.
- Can you bring my current data across?
- Yes. Whether you are coming from a spreadsheet or another tool, we move your customers and prices with you. It is part of the subscription, at no extra cost.
- Is there software or a server to install?
- No. BenneCRM opens in a browser. There is nothing to install and nothing to maintain at your end.
- Do I have to sign a contract?
- No. The subscription is monthly with no minimum term. You cancel from your account whenever you like, and access stays open until the end of the month you have already paid for.
Price and subscription
- How much does BenneCRM cost?
- €30 a month for up to 2 drivers, €80 a month for up to 10. Above 10 drivers, or if you run several companies, the price is quoted. Prices exclude VAT.
- Is the price per user?
- No. It is a flat price for the whole company. The number of drivers only decides which plan suits you, it does not multiply the price. You create as many office accounts as you need.
- Do the plans have different features?
- No, every feature is in every plan. A higher plan raises the number of drivers and the SMS included each month. It does not add features.
- Is there a setup fee?
- No. Creating the account, configuring it and setting up your price list are part of the subscription.
- How is payment handled?
- The subscription is charged monthly in advance by Paddle, our reseller of record, who issues the invoice. You can change plan or cancel from your account.
Day to day use
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. The screen adapts to a phone and a tablet, and there is no app to install. An order can be entered from the cab as easily as from the office.
- How do my drivers get their jobs?
- You assign a driver to a job, then send them an SMS in one tap. The message carries the address, the date, the customer, the skip size and the waste type. You write nothing, and every send is logged against the job.
- Can the customer confirm the order before we go out?
- Yes. You email them an order form. They open it from a link, with no account and no app, check it and sign online. The signature is timestamped and sealed with the document they were shown, and the order is marked confirmed.
- Do invoices go out from my own email address?
- Yes, if you connect your Gmail account. Invoices, statements and order forms then go out from your address, with your email template, and your customers' replies land in your usual inbox.
- How do I know which skips are still out?
- The order list filters down to live hires, and a map view shows the sites involved. An order stays open until the skip has been collected.
- Can I run several companies?
- Yes. Each company has its own separate space, with its own customers, prices and invoices. That is covered by the quoted plan.
- What languages is it available in?
- English, French and Romanian.
Data and security
- Where is my data hosted?
- In the European Union, on DigitalOcean infrastructure in Frankfurt.
- Is my data encrypted?
- Yes. Traffic runs over HTTPS, data is encrypted at rest, and the keys for your integrations are encrypted separately. Passwords are never stored in the clear.
- Can another company see my data?
- No. Each company has its own space, isolated from the others. No data is shared between accounts.
- Are there backups?
- Yes, one automatic backup a day.
- Can I limit what my staff can see?
- There are two roles: administrator and member. The administrator creates the team's accounts and can suspend or delete them. Finer permissions are available on the quoted plan.
- What happens to my data if I leave?
- It is yours. You can export your customers, orders and invoices at any time, and ask us to delete your data once the account is closed.
